Dance Rehabilitation (Dance rehab) is designed for movers who want to return not only to “pain-free,” but to confident, expressive, high-quality performance.
We blend clinical precision with an artist’s eye—so your care supports both the demands of your body and the integrity of your technique.
Service May Include:
- Technique and movement assessment in your preferred style (including, but not limited to, ballet and contemporary)
- In-studio or video-based analysis when you’re unable to demonstrate fully in session (aerial arts, partnering, tap, physical theatre, and more). If submitting video, please record prior to your appointment.
- Movement deconstruction of the specific step, phrase, or skill that is provoking symptoms or limiting performance.
- Strength, mobility, and neuromuscular re-education targeted to the components that are driving compensation patterns. We use inspired cueing through imagery, video feedback, and hands-on techniques to correct underlying technique inefficiencies.
- Movement reintegration, returning improved components back into the full task—so your progress carries over from “exercise” to actual dancing.
In short: we analyze the movement, break it into its essential parts (mobility, strength, timing, coordination, and control), refine what’s limiting you, and then rebuild the full skill so you can return to dance with greater ease, resilience, and artistry.
